For the past 10 years Lucien has been steadily working his way up the ladder
as one of Holland’s most respected and in demand DJ’s. His trademark big
room sounds have become a mainstay on the Dutch club and Festival circuit
and his DJ sets are always hotly anticipated.

His productions are equally as impressive. With tracks recently released on
Hed Kandi, Spinnin’ and Toolroom his tough but funk fuelled House music has
graced many a main room with A List supporters a plenty.

It may come as a surprise to some that his long awaited Peppermint Jam debut
sees him deliver a seriously classy slice of proper soulful house. With the
emphasis on live musical elements and catchy melodies the track is pure
bliss and the perfect base for singer songwriter (and recent Funkerman
collaborator) I-FAN who takes things to another level with an awesome vocal
performance.

To ensure that the track reaches more than just the soulful house floors
Lucien has also delivered an equally classy yet more uptempo version for
more energetic floors which culminates in an awesome breakdown… Wait for
the kick in!

On Remix duties we have enlisted some of the most exciting newcomers on the
scene. First up The Str8jackets deliver one of their trademark Asylum Rub’s
and take the track into Hardsoul territory with its chunky tribal beats and
all round weightiness…
