The Str8jackets in IBIZA: 8th-13th July!!!

The Str8jackets are all set to make their long awaited Ibiza Debut in Ibiza this weekend!!! The guys will be heading out Friday 8th July to play the infamous Pukka Up Sunset Boat Party and then onto the mighty Space for a serious Str8jackets session…

As if thats not enough the guys will be making it a double header by playing the Boat Party again on Tuesday 12th July before finishing the trip off in style by joining Carl Cox at Space…

Stay tuned for the boys Ibizan Diary, which is no doubt gonna be filled with plenty of mischief and mayhem!

Orange Hill Productions is the name of the collaboration between BBC Radio 1 DJ/producer Ras Kwame and friend, Jnr. Tubby.
‘Dan Man’ is the title of their forthcoming single which sees their love for dancehall music meet their appreciation for dance music. Club music at its finest.

Both fans of all things reggae (Jnr.Tubby is nephew to the late great Jamaican legendary pioneer of dub, King Tubby), the production duo weigh-in with a real club and radio bubbler, a track that has been getting great feedback from club DJs around the country.

Dan Man also features son of reggae maestro Freddie Mcgregor, Chino, alongside UKG stalwart, Ritchie Dan.

The single is due for release January 2011 on Ras Kwame’s new ElectroBashy Recordings imprint on LMJ Records and will also feature electro/dance and dubstep remixes, courtesy of: Str8Jackets, Cut N Paste, Silent Witness and up-and-coming dubstep monsters, Dynasty.

Huw Stephens now on board ‘Move & Rock’!!!

BBC Radio 1′s highly respected new music breaker Huw Stephens is the latest on Radio 1 to get behind our ‘Move & Rock’ single.
His shows regularly feature reccommendations from leading lights within different genres and last night our ‘Move & Rock’ champion Ras Kwame brang his ‘Court of New Urban Wisdom’ to the show with ‘Move & Rock’ as the soundtrack…
